We’ve listened! Results of our satisfaction survey 

Thank you to all parents that submitted feedback to us as part of our annual satisfaction survey. The results of our survey have been presented to our staff and we have taken steps to ensure that any areas that need improvement will be worked on in the year ahead. 

Our staff have been thrilled to read your thoughts on the service we provide, celebrating the positive comments while also considering how we can improve and continue to deliver the quality childcare service that you have come to expect from us.  

Most parents that responded to the survey said that they found our staff professional and approachable, that the nursery outdoor area has enhanced their child’s learning experiences, that there is a good range of stimulating activities provided at the nursery and that they felt confident in knowing how to use Tapestry, our online learning journal where we document your child’s progress. 

There are also ways in which we can improve. In response to your feedback, we have taken the following measures: 

• Paints, which are water-based but have caused some difficult stains on clothes, are being replaced with new paints that are water-based and washable. 
• Our menu has been redesigned to feature less repetition of foods and more diversity in the meals that we serve.  
• Pictures say a thousand words, so we are going to start uploading more snapshot photos to Tapestry as well as more insights on our various daily moments and activities, so you can start feeling more involved in your child’s time at the nursery.  
• We have used some of the scenarios raised in the survey at our latest team away day, to make sure that all staff are able to address these as they occur. 

 

As always, we will continue to be open and listen to your feedback, whether given in-person or online, and will endeavour to monitor any situations in which we feel we can make things better.
